Must read business books

I love reading business books. There are so many that it’s hard to decide, but one thing you can do is buy them from Amazon sellers and most of the time you can get it for just shipping ($3.99)

More than specific books, I think it is more about which authors for which topics:

If you are in sales you must read books by
– Jim Rohn, & Zig Ziglar.
These are must reads. Jim Rohn is quoted and acknowledged to be the king by many speakers. Zig Ziglar trains organizations with a southern accent and years and years of high sales experience.

If you are into Human Behavior
Malcolm Gladwell  – Tipping point & Outliers were unbelievable books. (I’m till reading What the dog saw) but almost everything that Malcolm Gladwell writes, I’m a reader.
Ori Brafman (Sway) Great book, specially the part where Allen Huffcut talks about interviewing and meaningless questions.

In Marketing
Seth Godin – He is awesome – All his books are outstanding but specially “All marketers are liars” & ” Tribes”
– Daniel Pink (Drive) Some unconventional thinking when it comes to how marketing effects outcome.
– Sergio Zyman (End of marketing as you know it). Great book, helped me a lot.

High Tech
John Nesheim (High Tech Startup) Like the title says, If you are in a tech startup, you need to read this.
– Chris Anderson (The Long Tail) you need to know this. Amazon does!

Just motivation to “Do It!, go ahead and start that business…”
– A.L. Williams (All you can do is all you can do, but all you can do is enough). This book started me on listening to audio books while driving to work when I worked for Northrop Aircraft. My drive was 1 hour+ each way and listening to audio books was a welcome activity.
– Anthony Robbins – Well, everyone needs to read or listen to Tony, at least Unlimited Power.

I hope this helps others in reading and sharing in some of the wisdom these guys have. It’s a shame to try to discover things all by yourself.
